Who we are
We are Local Lodge 1753 of the National Federation of Federal Employees-Forest Service Council.
We are affiliated with the International Association of Machinists (IAM).
We represent bargaining unit employees on the Boise, Payette, Sawtooth and Salmon-Challis National Forests in Central Idaho. On the Boise, Sawtooth and Payette, this includes all non-supervisory positions and all fire positions GS-9 or below. On the Salmon-Challis this includes all permanent non-supervisory positions and all permanent fire positions GS-9 or below.
